My brother brought one home one day, I would attempt a trick when he left it around the house, then I landed my first spike and I was hooked. After that I went and purchased my first dama and the addiction began.

Around 3 years.

Favourite trick?
Love really creative spacewalks and weird flowy downspike lines.

Favourite Kendama colour?
A deep burgundy with a tinge of pumpkin orange.

How did you discover Kendama?
Well, really one day I was at a tricking session with one of my mates and he pulled out a Kendama from his bag.  I had heard about them but had never really seen, let alone used one before.  I started to muck around with it and it was kinda easy to start with, until I got to the more complicated tricks.  Then I had to buy one so I could practice lol.

How long have you been playing Kendama?
I have probably been playing for close to a year now.  I’ve only recently starting playing Kendama heaps due to 2 major injuries.

Favourite trick?
Ooh my favourite trick would definitely have to be Spacewalk to Lighthouse.

Favourite Kendama colour?
Either red or purple :)

How did you discover Kendama?
I discovered kendama from my friends who started playing back in Salt Lake City Utah, at first I thought it was kinda silly and didn’t pay much attention, then I landed my first spike and it all changed after that! That was only 2 years ago, and by the time I moved to Australia 1 in every 5 kids in my high school played Kendama!

How long have you been playing Kendama?
I have been playing for 2 years now.

Favourite trick?
Any balance trick including Lunars, Lighthouses, and Stilts.

Favourite Kendama colour?
Would have to be blue or yellow.

How did you discover Kendama?
I do an acrobatic sport called Tricking and a lot of Trickers play Kendama in their off time because it’s good for reaction time, coordination and creativity. One of my Tricker friends from France actually properly introduced me to Kendamas and I was addicted instantly.

How long have you been playing Kendama?
I started in February 2014

Favourite trick?
That would have to be anything to do with Juggles or Down Spikes.

Favourite Kendama colour?
I can’t choose a favourite colour. That depends on the mood and environment I’m playing in. I go through phases of favourite colours ha ha.
